Nepalese sculpture is primarily renowned for its miniature religious figures and ceremonial artifacts made of bronze or copper alloy, but it also has other virtues. The Newar people of Nepal have long specialized in casting miniature bronze figurines, generally religious and especially Buddhist, a large number of which have been sent to India and Tibet.
